The filters are great and there's a healthy selection - again, filters are a matter of taste so have a play with the demo. I haven't spent much time exploring the granular and harmonic engines yet, but enjoy experimenting with them in presets. I prefer to use my own fave plugins for FX. It's a CPU hog, though much of that comes from its internal FX. Not every parameter is a target for modulation, which is sometimes disappointing. It's very intuitive, fun, and visual - and built around the core of a very deep modulation engine. Obvs it's a matter of taste but Arturia really nailed this. I have Pigments - bought it on sale plus a discount for having a couple of other Arturia effects, so it wasn't very expensive.Įxcellent and extensive presets which feature good descriptions, and signposts in the interface to help you learn from the sound design.Įxcellent interface.
